What’s in Jeany’s Caribbean Elixirs anyway?
We love talking about this stuff! Jeany’s Caribbean Elixirs is a handmade, artisanal beverage made from whole fruits and veggies. We do not use animal-derived ingredients, artificial flavors, or synthetic colors. We make our own pulps from scratch, using organic, all-natural ingredients.
Are your products vegan?
Absolutely. Our elixirs are made from plants and don’t contain dairy, lactose or animal products.
Do you artificially sweeten your elixirs?
All of our elixirs are available unsweet. We are from the land of sugar cane, however. For those who like things sweet, we use organic raw agave nectar or organic cane sugar.
I like mixing your elixirs with alcohol. Is that OK?
Of course! We do the same thing at home as well. Just ask Ms. Jeany the next time you see her at the farmers market for her favorite mixer recipe. Please drink responsibly!
What is an elixir?
An elixir is another way to describe a healthy beverage with medicinal properties. Our grandmother, Lyris Charles, was a master herbalist. We use her recipes in our creations and share the magic with you!
Do you use organic fruits and veggies?
Whenever possible, and the season allows, we do use local, sustainable and organic ingredients. We even have our own local garden and have used our veggies and fruits from time to time when the bounty is overflowing. Ingredients that we personally source from our own backyard garden include: spearmint, turmeric, ginger, rosemary, cucumbers, honeydew and cantaloupe.
Where do your ingredients come from?
We try to source as many of our ingredients as locally as possible. Our partners include Bernhardt Farm, Multicultural Refugee Farm, Fruithill Farm, Simple Promise Farms, In the Garden Farm, Bouldin Creek Farm.
I don’t live in the Austin TX area, but I would love to try your elixirs. Do you ship?
Yes, we do ship! Our shipping for out of state orders usually falls between $13 to $15.
I live locally in Austin and I want to have my items delivered. How long will it take to arrive at my home?

Are you accepting wholesale orders?
Yes, we are accepting wholesale inquiries. Please email us at info@drinkjeanys.com for more details.
Do you have a physical location?
We do not have a physical location. We make our products out of a shared commercial kitchen in North Austin on Tuesdays and Fridays. You can find our elixirs and/or collard green egg rolls at Mañana ATX both locations, The Driskill, launching in specialty grocery retail in 2023
What farmers markets do you sell at?
We currently sell at three local Austin farmers markets including, Texas Farmers Market - Lakeline and Mueller and the Barton Creek Farmers Market. We are open to expanding into additional markets in more cities as our staff grows!
I would love to work for your company. Are you hiring?
Yes, we are hiring! We can always use an extra hand in the commercial kitchen, selling at our markets/pop-up events and making deliveries. A part of our social justice mission is to hire those who are returning citizens and to pay a fair wage. Our starting pay is $15 per hour for market staff, with a shared tip pool for those who work on Saturdays and Sundays at our farmers markets. Our in-kitchen help start at $17/hr. Do you know of anyone who may be interested? Please email us at info@drinkjeanys.com for more details.
Why is shipping so expensive? Handling?? $15 dollars to “handle” a package!?!
Yes.
The thermal shipping box cost us around $15 on average, plus the price of dry ice.
We also ship next day air via UPS so your juices may arrive safely and in a timely fashion.
